MEMORY DRIFT SERIES 2013-2014
Childhood objects, such as vintage toys, become abstracted in this suite of works, replacing the literal object with suggestions of our own unique experiences. A sense of timelessness and memory is evoked in the painted nostalgic environments. These metaphorical abstractions lend themselves to more personal interpretations of their meanings by bringing past and present together in one expansive, dream-like space.
